In 2011, the Jean Monnet Association started the
"Cycle de rencontres avec les Ambassadeurs des pays exerçant la présidence de l’Union européenne." The Home of Jean Monnet, the birthplace of Europe, will hold this event for every new European presidency. The objective of this meeting is to shed light on the country that presides over the future of Europe, as well as presenting its vision and priorities for the EU. The highlight of this event, the Houjarray Interview, interviews the Ambassador from Jean Monnet’s armchair. With Poland assuming the presidency of the Union from July to December 2011, the Jean Monnet Association had the honor of welcoming His Excellency M. Tomasz Orlowski, Ambassador of Poland, for the first "Houjarray Interview" on 3 December 2011. |
