During the summer of 2010, two young students, Clément Heliot and Christophe Papillon rode to St. Petersburg on bicycles, starting from the Home of Jean Monnet in Houjarray in Yvelines, passing through Belgium, the Netherlands, Germany, Poland, Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia, and finally ending in Russia, riding more than 4000 km (2485 miles) in 47 days.

During their travels and throughout their encounters, they directed a series of interviews on citizens’ visions for the European Union.
