Jean Monnet is one of the Founders of Europe. He is the “inspiration” of the Schuman Declaration of 9 May 1950.

The Jean Monnet Association was created in 1986. Its main objective is to keep and pass on the memory of Jean Monnet, his work, and his teachings.

The Association also develops, with the financial support of the European Parliament and European Commission, training and information activities on the construction of Europe in the goal of bringing Europe and its citizens together, as well as preserving the memory and legacy of the Founding Fathers of Europe.
